Damages - Partial Performance
You performed partially, which could be (1) you repaid some amount of the money you owe; (2) you provided some parts of the service that were accepted by the Plaintiff; (3) you paid for parts of the service.
Depending on the language in your agreement and the applicable law, any amount that you owe the Plaintiff may be reduced based on the value of your partial performance. If your agreement does not allow partial performance of the agreement, the Court may reduce the interest owed.
Example
You borrowed $1,000 from the Plaintiff on March 1, and you were supposed to repay $500 on April 1 and $500 on May 1. On April 1, you repaid $300, and on May 1, you did not pay any amount. The Plaintiff claimed that you did not repay the loan as agreed and sued you for $1,000. Because you partially repaid the loan, and your agreement allowed partial performance, you only owe $700.

El Demandante aleg贸 que usted no devolvi贸 el pr茅stamo seg煤n lo acordado y lo demand贸 por $1,000. Debido a que usted devolvi贸 parcialmente el pr茅stamo y su contrato permit铆a el rendimiento parcial, solo debe $700.
